My design is a multi-purpose desk organizer. It can hold agendas, pens, pencils, Airpods, notes, clips, your phone, and any other small things a student keeps on their desk. When working from home, it's important to stay organized and be able to keep all of your necessities in one small, organized, easy-to-manage place. My design helps students stay organized during virtual learning and always have the supplies they need for class right at the tips of their fingers.
While designing my project, I faced the issue of making my project compact enough to easily fit on a desk while still being able to hold all of the supplies that I and other students have and need throughout the day.
If I could redesign my project, I would make it more aesthetically pleasing by adding more curves and other embellishments instead of having it be so square.
By 3D-printing my design, it is stronger because it is light-weight and durable at the same time. Other materials would be either be too heavy to more on a desk or would be too fragile.
