Single-axis gimbal for mounting a Canon IXUS 220HS to a multicopter.
Consists of two parts:
"Holder", which mounts to the copter and holds the servo in place.
"Frame", that tightly fits the IXUS 220HS (fix with a tripod screw from below) and is mounted inside of the holder using an M3 bolt and a nut from one side and fixed to the servo arm on the other side. The back is hollowed to minimize weight.
I fixed the holder to the copter using velcro tape and control the camera via USB/CHDK/scripting. Designed for a MG946R servo which has far enough power. This is not designed to stabilize the camera, but simply to allow tilting for non-vertical shots.
Printing with about 25% infill should give enough stability, maybe even less.
