The XT8 LSE is MSX's flagship 4WD, combining the X820's outstanding off road capabilities with the most luxurious interior of any MSX. Mechanically it's identical to any XT8, except the usually optional double wishbone front suspension and four link coil spring live axle is standard (a live front axle is a no cost option), and it's only available (for now) with a 4.0L turbo diesel I6 or 4.0L twin turbo V8. The V8 fitted here produces 324kW(434hp) and 569Nm(420ft lb). The V8 has a choice of six speed manual or an optional 8 speed auto, and both engines have dual-range part-time 4WD with diff locks and adaptive traction control. The LSE is very well equipped with 4-7 (7 seater shown) heated and cooled electrically adjustable leather seats with massaging, voice control, 9 disc CD player, bluetooth streaming, iPod connection, 320GB hard drive,internet connection, digital radio, TV, sat nav, 3 zone climate control, keyless start, 11 airbags (9 on 4/5 seaters), adaptive cruise control, reversing, front bumper and blind spot cameras, front and rear parking sensors, automatic split tailgate, fog lights and alloy wheels and a real wood dashboard with a variety of timber options. The XT8 LSE may be painted in any IMMC or Omega colour. All this makes the XT8 LSE the most expensive model in the MSX range, both the diesel and petrol engines cost US$65,990, AU$98,450, £62,695, 72,500.
