MSX AP6 3.3L inline 6

The latest version of the MSX AP6 inline 6 engine introduces 5 valves per cylinder, E85 capability and clylinder shutdown technology (CST) which allows the engine to run as a 4 or 3 cylinder when all 6 aren't needed. Direct injection remains standard on all versions. Increasing power and fuel economy were key goals for this engine, and the 3.3L version produces 241kW(328hp)@6150rpm and 406Nm(295ft lb)@2300rpm, more than the old 3.6. A 4.1L AP340 will be offered by MSX/R. The switch to a 3.3L returns the AP6 to the base capacity offered from 1956-2002. Dedicated (LPI) and dual fuel (SVI) LPG will be offered as an option in selected MSX and ISO products fitted with this engine.
