After fighting with drag knifes, I decided to remix my own no matter what I do I can not get my surface level enough to run a drag knife without messing something up so I created this spring loaded one that can move a few mm and hopefully compensate for the surface. I have not printed this version yet but will shortly, so do so at your own risk.
Noticed when I went to print they did not sit flat so I readjusted the model and hopefully fixed the problem.
v02 was added 16-12-16 as a fix when I went to print there was to much of a gap between the mount and shell. I made sure each half was cut exactly in half witch might work fine if you are printing in PLA but I also added a a v02 add 2mm for prints in abs to account for some shrinkage, will update as I go.
Just a added note when printing you will have to get the blade strap from the item I remixed it from also the drag knife rotor should be the only one you need to print with support (touching build plate) for the shaft, if you position the others correctly on your build plate you should not require supports to print but don't quote me on that, I'm not responsible if your print fails.
4.16-12-12 added blade holder
15-12-12 added a rendition for two nuts and screw for adjusting the spring tension file name -adjust was added at end, it should accommodate 1 x M4 screw and 2x M4 nuts but i have not tested yet.
