V2_1
V2 base had a break after a few short runs so I rotated the base to match previous, non-breaking, bases and closed and reinforced back hole that may have also played a factor as it was the fail point.

Testing completely new design
After consideration I ditched the 3 sharpie attachment from taras. Its good but size limitations are pretty firm on this printer. Instead using the 2 sharpie filament colorizer by cyclone https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:11742
I also changed the orientation the spool is meant to be held to eliminate the twisting path that cause the noise in V1. Note that means you will need extra space for the spool's clearance.
This is printed in 3 pieces in large part because I wanted it to be printable on the Voxel's small build volume. It is possible to use it with just the interference fit but I would recommend gluing it in the long run on this version.
Also I printed with a brim and would recommend a raft or brim for this one as the ring arms have a fairly minimal contact area with the bed and linear supports.
V1Editing in important note
After running it with some of my more fine tune methods with more aggressive retractions I have found this design loud and will be releasing a 2.0 sometime in the near future aimed at eliminating this flaw. Only print if a clicking noise every retraction is something you can tolerate.
This is something I threw together today after my clear filament came in.
I used Kickpunder41's redesign of the Adventurer 3 holder that fit so well in my Voxel
And also taras' 3 sharpie color blender for an Ender 3 here https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-138663
I added what should function as a little clip to keep it from slipping. And the reason I designed this was so that I would not lose z space in such a small printer.
Drawbacks are that some small amounts of sharpie ink will get inside your tubing and on the drive wheels that feed into the printer but nothing a little rubbing alcohol shouldn't fix if you need it clean again. Also the side panel cannot be on but the holder can still hold a 1KG spool easy and the colorizer is still removable to make changing spools and operating without it both simple.
