Greetings,
This is a replacement hotend fan shroud that removes the cooling nozzle for easier printing with ABS and Nylon
I personally have great success printing ABS and Nylon 230 on the Mini Select using this shroud and printing at 230C/80C on blue tape. For large parts, I would recommend buildtak or a very thin PEI sheet. Be careful about using thick glass or other print surfaces that may insulate and cause the effective bed temp to be too low.
UPDATE:
I add a 15 degree upward angle for the fan. This will motivate more air to leave the heatsink fins from the top, further reducing any air blowing down on the print.
