Realizing print-in-place technique is the holy grail of all 3D-printing techniques. Here is a model I present, that inculcates this amazing concept. It is one of my first print-in-place models with moving parts.
It is designed with a complex design that uses boolean operations simplified geometry and I doubt that it would put your printer to a huge test. Print it in place and the bottom should snap out easily. The bottom part of the model revolves out to reveal a storage space inside the mouse! (See attached pictures!)
I work in a laboratory that experiments using mice models of human diseases. Easy to guess that laboratory mice are the inspiration behind this design.
Dedicated to the countless mice that have been sacrificed for Science!
Happy Printing! :)
