Decided against the LEDs on my old Ford tractor warning lamps. Nowhere to mount the circuit board. Instead I'm going to just solder a couple wires to some 1893 long life bulbs and glue them in these holders. May not need to glue them if they fit snugly enough, we'll see. They'll only pull out from the front, further into the gauge cluster so there shouldn't be any risk of losing the bulb down where it can't be seen either way.
Also includes a little fixture to hold the bulb for soldering the wires. The ground will have to be soldered on the rim around the center contact so it doesn't interfere with the holder.
2piece version is split along the centerline. Will need to print with supports, and a raft if you have any elephant's foot. This version traps the bulb by having just recesses instead of slots for the retention pins. The two halves line up and can be held together with a zip tie around the waist. Wires will still need to be soldered to the very base of the bulb, one on the center contact and one on the outer rim. This version should also be stronger at the fingers, since the layer lines are running along them instead of across.
The new 58_1893_Mount_MOD file is what ended up working for me. If you print the two piece you'll get better results if you print it out round side down. STL has been reoriented for the direction it worked best for me. More support, but the faces that need to be precise ended up cleaner. The problem I had was it was prying itself open when trying to put into the hole, so I'm sticking with the single piece version.
