UPDATEs
Time measure per version:
Version 7: water about 15 seconds/ Oil about than 1 min. Much more lighter and thin walls. Less material use and more easy to print
Version 5: water about 30 seconds/ Oil about 2 min 30 seconds. Improved the design, removed edge corners making easier to clean. Modified the walls to have a consistent thickness. End of pipes cutted at horizontal plane to make it easy to print.
Version 4: water about 30 seconds/ Oil about 2 min 30 seconds. Increased the hole in the pipes to 2.6 mm, now liquid is dripping faster. Increased the capacity of the cup to be a little bit more than 100 ml.
Version 3: water about 1 min / Oil more than 4 min
I love to cook Salmorejo and other food in my MC Connect. But in cases that you need to emulsify a sauce, that request speed and drip oil slowly from the top (salmorejo, mayonnaise, alioli ...) , result a bit uncomfortable and dirty use the tap surface.
With this cup you can put the full amount of oil at once (max capacity 100 ml) and forget about it until the sauce is done.
I designed the system to slowly drop the oil/liquid to avoid the center of the blades and guarantee a correct emulsion.
The time to empty the 100ml of the cup depends in the viscosity of the liquid, olive oil takes about 1 min, which is why I designed for (tubes holes about 2.2mm diameter)
NOTE: you will need support to print this, but take care don't use support everywhere or the slicer will fillup inside of the pipes as well.
I recommend you to print with the pipes at the bottom, at least this the way that I got better results. I recommend use PETG and high resolution to guarantee the pipe holes diameters.
WARNING: This cup is not designed for hot cooking, it will depend on the material use for the print but i don't recommend you to use this cup for temperatures more than 50ºC
