It has been a hot summer, and the standard control box has terrible airflow. There is also very little space for upgrades in the stock case.
If you want a better case than stock, but keeping close to stock size, diogosergio made a wonderful control box that can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2364807
In reality, his design is much better than mine. It is elegant and simple.
I wanted something larger, so here it is. The airflow is incredible and almost silent.
The controller I use is the Cohesion3D Mini found here: http://cohesion3d.com/
It even uses the stock display, and I went with the Trinamic drivers and ethernet adaptor.
The mosfet board is the Anycubic model found here: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HCVJ3K2/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It is a monster that is just as big as the controller!
The fans I put in are pretty much silent and keep everything wonderfully cool: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MZ6VNII/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This one is big. It will accommodate an astonishing amout of hardware if you want to add it. I will also upload the step files so you can change anything you like. If you end up actually printing this, please post it. I would love to see it.
