Hello Makers,
This is a modular type IKEA Lack enclosure for Prusa style Cartesian printers!
You can choose to use as many Lack tables as you would like for this project. Though I cannot guarantee it will work with less than 2, or how sturdy it will be with more than 4.
The middle part of the extension can be printed multiple times to extend the height of your enclosure later down the road. This will require you fill the void with some type of material (more plexi, wood, cardboard, etc.) but will allow for Zaribo and MMU style upgrades to your printer without having to completely rebuild your enclosure!
Some goals I had when I started the design.
Modular type design for easy customization of amount of tables used in the build and ability to increase height after enclosure is finished. Allowing for upgrades (Zaribo, MMU, etc.) after building the enclosure
Detachable doors for easy access. I wanted the front to be split and for removal and installation to be as easy as possible.
A good seal around windows and doors for noise, ventilation, and insulation purposes
Electronics moved to outside. (This is probably not necessary, just something I wanted for accessibility purposes and to make the printer look more streamlined)
Easy to maneuver, preferably with wheels that also have brakes so it can be locked in place.
The magnets I used are 2x9mm N50 grade (link below) but if anyone wants me to edit the files for 3x8mm magnets I can easily do so.

Finally have gotten around to revising the files on my enclosure build and everything has been modified to print with VERY MINIMAL SUPPORTS!
YOU WILL NEED TO EXTEND A FEW DUPONT CONNECTIONS IF MOVING THE RAMBO UNDERNEATH THE ENCLOSURE. I simply glued some dupont jumpers together to achieve this (link further down) but you can buy some legitimate extensions from Zaribo.org as well.
I opted for Plexiglass because I had a place in town that could cut it to size for me, but Lexxan may be a better alternative if you plan on cutting it yourself. It is less brittle than Plexi but more prone to scratches and is much more UV sensitive. (turns yellow when exposed to UV) I went with 3mm thickness.
Measurements for the windows is 680mm x 430mm (x2)
Measurement for the split door is 215mm x 680mm (x2)
I placed my hinges about 1.5" from the top and bottom of the glass. If set right, once you put the edge trim around the glass, it should be friction fit even without magnets.
EDIT Extended the stand-offs on the door catch rails by 2mm to prevent having to double up on magnets, tried to tidy up the file names abit.

Please feel free to message me with design improvements or suggestions, my enclosure was built using all V1 parts so the pictures may look different than the files. I improved various parts after my build, mainly the LED Rails/Door Catch has a slotted screw hole so adjustments can be made easily while installing the windows and doors.
