Arduino and Raspberry are great platforms that allows us to create both easy and complex project; there is literally a world of breakout boards that can be connected to these platforms allowing us to range over with creativity.
Breadboards and jump wires are great and helps to put our ideas working but have some limitations, especially when working on projects the should be tested outside the lab.
Therefore I decided to design a simple and 3D printable modular frame system capable to safely support veroboards, breakouts, displays, sensor, etc.
The system is structured as follow:
FRONT FRAME
it is bolted on the aluminium rods and and can be used to mount displays, buttons, biometric sensors, etc.
INTERMEDIATE FRAME
slips into the aluminium rods and can be positioned at will. Onto these frame can be positioned many formats of veroboards, Arduino and Raspberry boards, batteries, etc.
REAR FRAME
it is bolted on the other end of the aluminium rods. It is intended to be used as support for sensors, breakout bords, etc.
ACCESSORIES
Allows to give more flexibility to the system
