Modified splint

After nearly chopping my ring finger tip off, I had a pin inserted to refuse bone and stuff by a great hand surgeon. The pin comes out after about 8 weeks, but on my second week follow up visit after surgery, the 2nd molded splint/cast they gave me was just too loose or too short.
So modified carbonbased's design to be very similar to the white splint the doctor's office gave me. Might help someone else, just make sure you size it right and don't do anything to cause your finger to heal wrong or get infected. No pressure should be felt. AND ALWAYS USE COTTON GAUZE between the skin and plastic. Search Amazon or whatever for SurgiTube finger sized tube gauze. That's what the doctors use. You need at least two layers.
Printed mine in PETG, very similar to the molded splint/cast from the doc. Plus a little sticky bandage to keep it from slipping off.
