Well let's start from the beginning :
A multi disciplinary team was reunited by a Braziliam Project Called Habilis to create a real fully functional low cost 3d printed mioeletric prosthetic hand, but we asked to make a real miracle before touch in our research... help one young man that lost most part of his left hand in an terrible accident on a dog's ration factory. But it was not the end... in the hospital...he was victim of medical error and the left survivor thinger the Thumb was just putted on a very strange position so it now is useless.
But why we call it Miracle ? Welll... the dead line had just 4 DAYS only!! So...the leader Bio Medical Doc asked: Guys... can you do it ?
We looked each other and...after some seconds thinking on the craziest challenge of our careers the awser was ... YES, let's make it happen! Yeah of course hadn't, no access to exams, no X Ray, only the patient and the old aesthetic prosthetic hand that made a lot of bruises and scars at his skin with still open harms give us a rush boost to work faster as we can, so no time to make something really brand new, then, we decided to make the necessary mods in the Phoenix project made by the E-Nable team. The very first results were sucessfull so the new phoenix looks like confortable to use by the patient. Unfortunatelly in the final assembly the physiatrist asked for some changes in the design just to avoid any more damage to the patient health and asked for some changes that we can't make right now. So here is the result of all that great adventure that you can print and test or discuss at your college class with your teachers and friends
