THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS - I will be updating this (just did).
In the V2 version I've lengthened the shoulder to the nosecone and rocket body for a more secure fit. I also made it so elements can be separated to do two color prints if you like.
I STILL HAVE NOT FLOWN THIS YET (but it should prove to be a fun flyer)
What's that flying beneath the Christmas tree? Why a missile toe of course! Tis the season.
This is designed to fly on an Estes A10-3 - I've not test flown it but it should have the needed kick.
Besides the obvious motors, you will need about 2" of 13mm tube (BT-5), a parachute or a streamer and a short length of 1/8" launch lug.
For now the instructions are
1) Know something about model rocketry
2) Glue the motor block into the end of the BT-5 - you want the motor to be able to stick out about 1/2" or so.
3) Glue the BT-5 into the opening for it on the rocket,
4) Push the 1/8th launch lug into the square mount, there shouldn't be a need to glue it
5) Add a recovery system (chute / streamer / shock cord) and attach it to the motor block and the small hole inside the nose cap.
6) If needed add weight to the nose cone so that the rocket balances about 1" above the fins
7) Fly it, and god speed to the missile toe!
