Missile for the Nikko trailblazer RC vehicle. As often happens with missiles you can launch from a toy, they get lost. So when my son had lost his 3rd and last missile I gave it a go to print them. I designed the missile from a photo and using the dimensions of the launcher on the car. Of course the design could have been better if I still would have had the original but despite that this design works.
I designed it as two separate pieces to be able to easily print it and have 2 colours. I used orange and black but of course you can combine any colour you like. After the print you can simply connect them using a drop of super glue.
I printed the missile body with a brim cause otherwise the surface to attach it to the print bed is very very tiny. The remains of the brim actually help when you glue it to the tip as it increases the surface between the two. The tip is best printed without a brim.
The missile is best printed with supports. The tip at the end of the missile needs to be at a 90 degree angle and without supports that is not really achievable.
