Update 11/17: Driving the jaws with a Microbit BBC
This is a minor tweak on the jaws from Kepler's excellent model.
The servo "box" that the jaws are mounted to is from the following link.

This servo is connected to an arduino uno and is controlled with the GUNO interface which gives easy direct windows GUI control of the servo movement or can use buttons and toggles in the GUI to execute functions.
Can also read from an embedded RFID chip (very small glass bead) if you put a bead on the tip of the pincer. Think about that for a minute, this would allow feedback for task monitoring. If the workstation platform had an embedded RFID reader under the work surface then it could tell the pincer to execute a specific function, on approach with a linear actuator or modified scotch yolk ...
