This is an easy-to-print chainguard for a chainring that does not accept a guard. I have no idea what brand the chainring is, but it has 48 teeth.
I guess you can use it on smaller chainrings as well, it's meant to be fastened with zip-ties.
Instructions:
Printed in PLA at 205C, 20% infill. Print with the flat side down for a nice adhesion, drafted side down for easy removal. It requires a minimum of 200mm x 100mm printing surface. You would probably need to print two copies. No supports, rafts are optional.
Features:
Fits an i3 / Makerbot or similar printing bed since it requires about 20x10cm.
Ugly, but uses a minimum of material to get the job done.
"Fast" to print, should take less than one hour.
The drafted/chamfered (narrow side) should sit on the chain side so it allows the chain to clear.
The outside corners are rounded so your pants have a chance to clear the guard and chain.
Crankshaft clearance is 33mm from center, outside diameter is 210mm.
Tested!
You can clone it and modify it to make it your own just by editing an OnShape sketch: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/41ae2ad591eadd1abd046603/w/e04e9aa26154bb40d38aec2f/e/2b6c9f6084c98b69cb31430b
Post-printing:
In the case of this chainguard no modifications were needed. However, I designed my other chainguards flat and used a lighter (blue part of the flame) to soften them and form them by hand so they sit proud (outside of the chain). If you find your version sits too close to the chainring, you can do that as well, it takes 2 minutes.
