If you own one of those mini-360 DC to DC buck down converter (say to convert from 12vdc to 5vdc) and look for something to protect the little bugger, then this mini-box is for you.
I used this mini-360 to tap 12vdc off my Mosfet and feed 5vdc to my 8mm auto-bed leveling sensor (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008FZC8F2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). It worked quite well without draining any voltage off the Anet A8 main board.
Wiring:
I connected the leveling sensor's brown wire to the 5vdc (output end) of the mini-360. I tied both the sensor blue wire and the mini-360 output ground together and connected those to the leftmost pin of the Z end-stop. I did not use the Z end-stop middle pin (it's the main board's 5vdc that many recommended to use and I didn't like to take power off the board). The sensor's black wire, which is signal, was connected to the right-most pin of the Z end-stop.
Printed using 50mms speed, 50% infill, 200deg extruder, 60 deg hotbed using PLA 1.75mm, support generation needed.
Enjoy.
