I've made mini M&M rockets for 13mm motors (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3941671) but wanted to try the larger 18mm motors in one. Frankly I half suspected the heat of the motor would deform the body tube but it actually worked just fine.
Build notes:
1) Print all the parts. Print the nose with 30% infill and you shouldn't have to add weight. Print the fins upside down WITH support.
2) Cut the mini M&M tube at the "Seam" at the bottom. Cut off the flip top lid, then cut off the ridge at the top that the lid stops against.
3) Attach a kevlar shock cord through the hole in the top of the fin unit.
4) Epoxy in the fin unit passing the shock cord through the tube.
5) Epoxy down the fins (fillet them with epoxy).
6) I use nomex cloth for wadding and run the shock cord through a slit cut in the middle of it. If you wish to do the same, this is the step to do it on.
7) Tie the shock cord to the nose cone by threading it from one wedge shaped cut to the opposite one.
8) Make a loop in the cord near the nose cone for the parachute.
9) Attach a 9" or so parachute.
10) Launch and enjoy.
I've only launched this on an A8-3 as seen in this video...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GjYxiIUs168
...but it should take up to a C6-7.
