Modified Hinge should be bolted and glued to glass, structure was verified for wind speed up to 51m/s (1.6KN/m2)

Like a car's ABS system, the PIC based controller detects in real time speed and wind direction, and position of the door.

In absence of wind, the system will not operate, if the wind increases in intensity it varying the viscosity to maintain forces balanced, until lock the door against wind pressure.

When someone unlocks the door's handle, and pushes door in one direction, system helps the user keeping constant the speed of the door.

System can be connected with the Yacht field BUS to realize a centralized control.
If a gas spring is mounted on the door, system helps to automatically close the door even in presence of the wind.
