I made this tool to install a Crankshaft Bearing in my 2011 Mini S. Cooper Clubman with N18 engine. It should work with other Mini engines such as the N14 engine. I made this tool mainly since Mini discontinued the tool(s)...as of May 2021.
To use the tool you must provide the following hardware: 5/16or 8 mm threaded bolt 2 1/2 or longer; two nuts that fit the bolt size you choose; and two flat washers that fit the bolt size you choose. You will also need the 3 OEM bolts from your car that connect the harmonic balancer to the crankshaft hub.
