Like low power lighting?
Well we have a solution for you!
This set of parts will allow you to construct small LED spotlight feature lighting, with adjustable brackets.
Included are some cable hooks as well to get you started.
You will need:
5mm LED's (high intensity - whatever serves your needs best)
Some 3mm nuts and bolts (10 - 20mm)(2 per bracket)
Resistors (220 - 400 ohm, 390 preferred)
Hot Glue (or the next best thing you can find)
Soldering experience (or money enough to buy pre-wired LED's)
Figure Eight speaker wire or suitably insulated wire.
(check local electrical regulations - some countries are strict on this now)
8G X 19mm Square drive (self countersinking) screws - or similar.
The resistors are for current limiting so you don't cook the LED's.
They should be in "series" with the LED, alternatively you can purchase pre-fabricated LED kits from Ebay or Jaycar dealers.
The value of the resistor:
If lower: will increase power use and brightness, and shorten LED life
If greater: will reduce power use but decrease intensity, and increase LED life.

330 and 390 ohm resistors are in the ISO "preferred ranges" and are readily available in 2% Metal film. I recommend 1/2 watt, as 1/4 watt may get too hot and melt the ABS.
See attached images for suggested assembly methods.
If you plan to run a heap of these, you will want to find an "LED Driver Circuit" on ebay. worth the investment.
