Minecraft Pickaxe XL Size - 32.5 cm.
Designed to be printed with small print bed and single color print head.
Pixel dimensions are 25x25x20mm.
The source code is provided to change these values. For example: 30x30mm pixels makes a 39 cm pickaxe and can still be printed on a 18x18cm bed.
The mine rock makes the pickaxe stand verticaly with levitation of the handle. It is designed for 25x25x20mm pixels.
The technique to snap colors caps and avoid multicolor print was inspired by this thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1504987. I would like to set this thing as a remix but this don't work.

1x pickaxe-4.stl

8x pickaxe-nail-5x.stl

Nails in handle background color (100% infill):
24x pickaxe-nail-2x.stl
8x pickaxe-nail-3x.stl
8x pickaxe-nail-5x.stl

Head caps (10% infill):
30x pickaxe-cap.stl

Handle caps (10% infill):
22x pickaxe-cap.stl

Assembly
Glue is not required, the nails system is very strong. However I designed this for a kid so I still used epoxy glue for maximum strength.
Every assembly is definitive you can't go back without braking something, be very careful.
1) Assemble the 2 main parts of the handle

2) Assemble the handle to the core

3) Assemble the first part of the head to the core

4) Assemble the second part of the head to the core

5) Assemble the tip of the handle

6) Assemble caps on the handle
Glue is not required but its better to add a drop of glue to avoid clicking sound due to gaps around the caps. However here again when caps are in place they will be very hard to remove even without glue.

7) Assemble caps on the head

The source code is a scad file:agentscad/tree/master/things/minecraft/pickaxe/pickaxe.scad
Before opening the file you need to install the Basic Prerequisites of my library.
Mine rocks were designed using Blender, source file attached.
