Mill Dam

This dam provides water power to a working sawmill museum. The mill building complex consists of a sawmill, gristmill and woodworking machinery powered by an overshot Fitz waterwheel and a steam engine. Visitors to the site can tour the working mill to see the waterwheel and machinery in action. The steam engine is demonstrated during most special events (except the Winter Ice Harvest - when the Mill building remains closed) and the gristmill is demonstrated during the fall Harvest event.
