As part of a UK Housing Submission, something new was required for part the Street-Scene – The ‘Milk Float!’ Small Electric Vehicles used for the delivery of Milk and other Dairy Products in the UK. The vehicles are rather slow, but ‘Quiet!’ They have been in use for nearly a Century, and are part of ‘Early Morning Life.’ The logos used for the model are the Cooperative Society. However, there were many hundreds of small independent dairies using ‘Electric Floats’ up and down the country. The model can be considered as ‘Generic’ as there were hundreds of designs – Some, testaments to Carpentry, and others following more conventional vehicle construction.
