The square sensor that is used on the Migbot for auto leveling is in desperate need of a fine adjust mechanism. There are a few other solutions to this issue that have been published in the Thingiverse, props to those creators. This is my version.
There is some extra hardware required:
M3x20 screws and nuts already being used to mount the sensor
M3x8 (quantity 2) and nuts to mount the body to the sensor strut
M3x30 and nut for the adjustment screw
M3x20 and nut for the locking screw
Two springs from a pen (approximately 4mm x 26mm)
OPTIONAL: flat washers on the adjustment screw and the sensor mounting screws
The design is such that when the slider is even with the bottom of the body, the mounting holes are aligned. Note where your sensor is currently mounted and mount it the same way to the slider. When you first install the sensor, align the bottom of the two parts and it should be nearly the same height as before.
