This Mercury Red Stone is “Estes-Type” flying replica you can print using 3D printer. Printing material recommended is PETG, due to it’s resiliance, light weight and strength. See small Youtube video of material used. This rocket made of several parts to accommodate the smallest of 3D printers 150x150 mm print beds.
The tube walls are only 1mm thick. You would need to print 3 tubes; mainbodytube.stl 2 pcs and toptube.stl 1 pc. for a proper height.
All components will snap together but small amount of glue must be applied. The engine block is C6 type and C6-3 is recommended to fly. You need to add parachute, rubber cord, engine, Estes non flammable wadding and the c6 motor’s metal retainer peg. After rocket completion, you must balance this rocket using incerted engine and conterweight in the nose if required.
If you flew Estes rockets before, you will find this kit fun to fly. Not recommended if never build Estes model rockets and especially fire them.
