Seriously, who would protect his shoulder without protecting his forearm :)
Here is my design of a medieval vambrace. it was created to fit with my medieval shoulder design (http://www.thingiverse.com/Stonedge/designs)
Special Thank to MasterG403 for printing it for me :) since my delta is currently under reconstruction his help was priceless :)
The provided STL are based over my forearm dimension, which look like a standard forearm at my point of view (Sorry I'm not a forearm dimension expert...)
There's two different logo... choose well ;)
This design is fully parametric using FreeCAD spreadsheet functionnality(ATM logo must be center manually, but i will fix that soon).
Here the how to customize:
Take your forearm dimension (W/H wrist, W/H just before elbow (arm must be bend at 90) and the length of the inner forearm.
Open FCstd file with FreeCAD 0.17
Open the Spreadsheet called "var"
Ajust values based on your needed dimension.
Select "Main Plate Rounded" and the "Final Logo" of your choice (with the Shift Key)
Click File-Export, and save the stl somewhere
Print and Enjoy!
