Model of a medieval sword packed with . The sword was made according to Oakeshott's typology and matches Type XIIb. All shapes, dimensions and materials are historically accurate. All metallic parts are iron and the handle is made of cow horn. You can melt certain kinds of horns to give them almost any shape. That material was like a medieval plastic. Design of the sword looks deliberately plain and simple as it represents a mass produced armament fitted for a common soldiery or a mercenary. The model is . It has been tested in Unreal Engine 4 and Unity. I also included original quad-based version for subdivision if you need to use it in high quality close-up rendering. Bear in mind that pictures above use non-subdivided version. Looks as if the sword was made recently and didn't yet have time to accumulate lots of dirt, dust and scratches. This one have seen some action but not too much. It is still in a very good condition. Old sword covered with all kind of dirt, dust and rust. It's edges are dull but the thing still could be used for fighting if you're really desperate. BaseColor, Ambient Occlusion, Metallic,, Roughness, Diffuse, Glossiness, Specular, Normal(DirectX), Normal(OpenGL), Unreal Engine(OcclusionRoughnessMetallic), Unity(MetallicOcclusionSmoothness).
