Augusto Maywho was only appeared in the 2000 live-action adaptation Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas. 18 years prior, 2018 animated film of The Grinch features a female version of the Mayor of Whoville, named Martha McGerkle, unlike Mayor Maywho for antagonist. In fact, Mayor McGerkle is only a minor character, she's nicer, not greedy and doesn't have any kind of grudge against Grinch. She is voiced by Angela Lansbury (The Last Unicorn, Beauty and the Beast and Anastasia).
