Hi everyone, this initiative does not presume to be the solution to the current impossibility of finding even the simplest FFP1 masks. While waiting to find suitable PPE (personal protective equipment), also for safety or psychological serenity, I created and made available to everyone the model of a mask with interchangeable filter to be printed freely at home. Obviously the owners of a 3D printer and their loved ones closest and in difficulty will benefit immediately, but also those who have or would have the opportunity to print more pieces and distribute them to those who need them. It is good to point out that the handcrafted filters do not ensure any protection from the virus, but it would still be a first, albeit mild, protective barrier in the moments in which we are most exposed, forced to leave for some imperative need, for a short time and not in high situations risk. In addition, it is also good to specify that not all PLAs are hypoallergenic, some may even be cytotoxic, so make sure of the quality of the material beforehand, use certified products for contact with skin and mucous membranes!
