For the Kobolds of Zul the need for an 'infantry' tank was quite different than that of other nations: •The mountainous terrain to the east necessitated a vehicle with a powerful engine, in this case two inline 150hp petrols engines. This was able to drive the vehicle at 35kph on paved terrain. •It's common enemies, the goblins to the east, were occasionally supplied with foreign anti-tank guns. Even an infantry tank needed 50mm of armor on most places to remain protected. •The tank had a novel crew and equipment layout. It was a 'two deck' tank with the engine and transmission below the crew. This bottom deck was protected by 30mm front, ~150mm combined sideskirts and hull armor, and 40mm rear. To prevent the vehicle from brewing up due to the petrol engine. •Crew were laid out with a gunner-loader at the front in the turret, driver to the rear right and commander rear-left. •Armed with a 37mm gun for both tanks and fortifications. Gun was capable of -13°/+10°. Turrets rotated 275°.
