This dial indicator slider is built on top of a phone clamp that allows a quick way to setup dial indicator without messing with the hotend.
You'll need:
Phone clamp: https://goo.gl/dVhf8b
PTFE mouse dics: https://goo.gl/PzNsJC
1/4" -20 thread: https://goo.gl/p892Vn
My measurement was a little off on the dial indicator mount (for Turlen brand, but it fits) and height of the bracket was too low to clear the screw nuts on the underside of X axis frame. So I just epoxied another set of brackets on top of them. STP files are included, feel free to improve it.
The bracket with PTFE must be a perfect fit to the thickness of X axis frame. My M2 is the first generation from 2013. Measure twice and print once.
Assemble Instruction:
Print four pieces of sliders and the dial indicator mount. Screw the mount to the phone clamp with 1/4"-20 screw and epoxy the brackets as shown in the picture. Finally apply PTFE on all three interior walls of slider.
Installation Instruction:
Move the print head to the far right and attach the clamp on X axis frame.
