Makelangelo 5 is the latest edition of the open source drawing robot that hangs on a whiteboard, window, or mirror to draw with a sharpie. Takes up no room on a table! Put one in your class and if a student is staring out the window, they're staring at the machine. Learn the basics of CNC without the burning hot danger nozzle, and upcycle the parts when you're ready to make a real 3D printer.
You can get a fully assembled and tested makelangelo or figure it out and make your own. It's open source!
Please share whatever you make on the marginally clever forums so we can get it to all the Makelangelo fans.
2018-08: added individual model files.
2018-09: Added laser cutting DXF files.
2019-10: Better fitting parts; pen angled downward for longer lasting drawings; calibrator added; experimental bearing clips added.

This is a chuck pen holder for the Makelangelo 3 by migpics
