This walking robot is based on a patent from 1891. Two electric magnets in the feet are controlled to make the robot walk. You can control the electro magnets too make the robot walk Forward or Backward or even turn if you like. The optional body is a remix of a Bender design "thing:212824" and can be replaced by any body you might want to make as it is separate from the mechanical part of this design.
The two 20mm electric magnets could be replaced with larger 30mm magnets if you wanted to make a larger robot or put batteries on board.
The gear motor could be replaced with a faster unit if you wanted the robot to walk faster.
I put LED back lit eyes in the gray colored robot. The motor and magnets are from Ebay sellers. The seller of the two 20mm electric magnets also sends you a 12 volt power supply for free so that is what I used on my two 3d printed robots.
There are two different foot cover designs. 3B is a round cover and foot cover 4 is more oval.
A PDF file of the 1891 patent is also provided.
The you tube video shows how the robot is assembled .https://youtu.be/kjBCA3mpsWI
