With an internal space of 3 5/16" x 7/8" (84mm x 23mm) this drive pocket was designed to hold most common small external hard drive products. The bottom has a generous opening which allows the USB cable to be routed from the top or bottom.
Magnet use is optional, and will allow you to locate it anywhere on a steel surface!
You can easily mount it to a STEGO BOARD product wherever there are Pi Zero hole patterns!
Or use wood screws to attach it anywhere you desire!
Magnet installation instructions:
Apply silicone adhesive or similar into the magnet cavities. Insert magnets and press down. Apply more silicone adhesive to the top of the magnets. Apply Crazy glue to the top outside ridges of the magnet cavities. Add magnet covers and press down. Leave glue to properly set before using.
Fastener instructions:
Mount the bottom part using fasteners.
Slide top part on slowly.
Optional Magnets:
Two Magnet Bars 2 3/8" long x 3/8" wide x 3/16" thick. (60mm long x 10mm wide x 5mm thick) Magnets can be found on Amazon by searching 60 x 10 x 5 mm.
Optional Fasteners:
Four M3 x 8mm long machine screws.
Four M3 nuts.
