Magnetic 100mm and 150mm filter mount adapter by Arachnorchis

This allows 100mm and 150mm square filters to be magnetically fixed to these filter adapters:https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2945377https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2945769
It is not compatible with any other system.
The filter is encased in a frame with embedded magnets (6 magnets for the 150mm filter, 4 for the 100mm). These can then be snapped onto an adapter which also has embedded magnets. These magnetic mounts are fixed to the top of a traditional style filter mount or can be fixed on their own.
The magnetic adapters are surprisingly secure, can be fully inverted and gently shaken without dislodging. Four pins help to prevent the adapters from sliding off. Use at your own risk.
Designed and printed with ABS, please be aware other materials may affect fit due to shrinkage, or lack of.

Tested with Lee 150mm polarising filter, and Haida 100mm Neutral density filter.
You’ll need:
Countersunk screws M4x10-12mm x10 for 150mm frame. x4 for 100mm frame.
M4 nyloc nuts x10 for 150mm filters. x4 for 100mm filters.
Neodymium magnets 20x10x2mm – x12 for 150mm frame. x8 for 100mm frame. These are the listed measurements for the magnets I purchased, their actual measurements were a little smaller.
Additional 4x M4 countersunk screws to fix to main adapter (length varies depending on configuration).
Directions:
Print part A and B of desired frame size.
Press magnets into their slots, ensure polarity is kept the same.
Insert filter into frame A, fix together with frame B using screws and nuts. Holes may have to be drilled out with a 4mm drill bit first.
Print Mag mount adapters x2, insert magnets into each slot- check polarity with the filter frame, if only using 100mm filters the center slot can be left blank.
Optionally, bottom cover can be glued/bonded to the mount adapter, check magnet polarity with the frame first!
