UPDATE 1:
Go and check the keyboard I made to go with it here:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:673695
Hi there,
I saw this on the best magazine on earth, wired last night and loved it!http://www.wired.com/2015/01/slick-macintosh-design-inspired-first-mac-time/
So I thought it would be a neat idea to modify it to suit an ipad mini.
Its finished!!! check the updated photos.
NOTE: I HAVE CREATED A NEW MODEL FILE WHERE THE ANGLE IS LESS STEEP AS I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH IT.
I STOP MY FIRST PRINT AND TEST IT AND THE IPAD MINI IS UNSTABLE, SO USE THE SECOND ONE IF YOU HAVE A CONCERN.
A NEW IMAGE OF THE PART PRINTED IS NOW ADDED.
Also I am planning to add rice between scafolding within the piece before is fully printed (rice in the gap where the base is) to add weight to it so it will be nice and heavy.
Look at my other ipad mini creations.

I used ArchiCAD, I am an architect.
I downloaded the original macintosh model as a sketch up file and import it to archicad, then I did the same for the ipad mini.
from the article I downloaded the images and changed it to suit and kept the original proportions where I could
Then I changed it a little more to be able to put in on the 3d printing bed, it just fits on my 3d touch.
And I rendered it using Artlantis really quickly
