m5 inner diameter spacer of height 10mm and outer diameter 10mm
I designed this spacer to be used with the IKEA Minnen metal bedframe to secure the Lack slats/platform at each end, but it will probably also work with others, and isn't exactly the same as the part it replaces. In fact, the new design for Minnen beds has a really neat hooked part for retaining the bed platform slats that appears under part # 191315 that I might try to make a file for if anyone is interested.
This is sized to allow a 16mm long pan head m5 bolt to pass through (admittedly I had to lightly thread mine in... tight tolerances), and leave room for a flat washer and a plain-old regular degular m5 nut to thread on from the underside of the bed frame.
The impetus for designing this is that my kids have lost all but one of the original slat retainer parts on the Minnen bed they have, and I wanted to throw something together that would be harder for them to remove while remaining relatively safe and secure.
