In order to fulfill the purpose of sampling the lunar regolith layer by layer into a container, I came with a relatively simple design to separate and sequential rearrange the collected materials.
The "Lunar TuniSampler" weighs 494grams, made of aluminum and Teflon, it will be attached to a six bolts set-up, three on each side of the housing part.
The whole automated system will be in a sleep mode unless the Funnel receives material being detected by means of the Occupancy sensor that will engage the DC motor to rotate the Spiral PTFE(teflon) brush, and consequently will facilitate the filtration process all the way-out. All of the material will slide above a specific sized mesh, the first stage mesh will filtrate less than 3 mm of diameter material, the second stage will do so but with a maximum of 20 mm of diameter, the non infiltrated material will be evacuated and and thrown away thru the opened ending.

The filtrated rocks are collected and locked in the Sampling chamber, after 60 seconds of filtration, the on-board computer will send an order to stop the motor and activate the Micro Linear actuator (1) to release the fine regolith to fill the first layer into the container passing through the sampling duct, then the Micro Linear actuator (2) is being already activated and the second deposit successfully filled.

All the cycle will continue processing until the container is full, being detected by the means of an IR Camera and went in sleep mode to save power unless the container emptied.
It will be necessary the presence of a micro controller or a nano computer(Raspberry like) on the (lander/Rover) and linkage cables with the main camera and sensors embedded in the Lunar TuniSampler to process the described task.
Best regards
