A fully tested and working (including auto bed leveling geometry and cooling fan airflow path) toolhead mount for the E3D Titan Aero!
Designed to be as light as possible (but still structurally rigid), I've gotten some awesome prints out of this design.
I highly recommend the Cura 2 Alpha from Lulzbot so you can save your nozzle size in your machine profile and swap between it like any other toolhead: https://code.alephobjects.com/project/profile/10/
A lighter toolhead allows the operator to operate at higher acceleration, jerk and speed - allowing for either faster prints or higher print quality at stock settings. Personally I leave settings at default other than jerk which I set to 20~30 for more dimensionally accurate corners and easier parts that fit together (Lulzbot really needs to add LIN_ADVANCE to their firmware).
Design files available upon request. Designed in Fusion 360. Message me with your F360 registered email to be added to the repo.
Pancake steppers can NOT drive 3mm filament, even at 1A of current. Get a half height NEMA 17 such as Moon's. ESteps should be around ~417.
