Last crawled date: 4 years, 8 months ago
This case allows the mounting of a Raspberry Pi (Model B) onto the side of a Lulzbot Mini. The case is a remix of the Raspberry Pi (Model B) case with 75mm VESA mount by 0110-M-P and the mounting bracket from Raspberry Pi 2/B+ case for Lulzbot Mini by arijaycomet.
I've included 0110-M-P's original top stl file here for convenience, though the bottom piece is the only one that has changed. See 0110-M-P's original case for the source stp files.
See photos and information bellow for information on assembly hardware and mounting.
The following hardware was used to assemble the case:
2x - Sheet metal screw, phillips pan head, #4 x 1/4"https://www.boltdepot.com/Sheet_metal_screws_Phillips_pan_head_Stainless_steel_18-8_4.aspx?Selected=5435
3x - Sheet metal screw, phillips pan head, #4 x 3/4"https://www.boltdepot.com/Sheet_metal_screws_Phillips_pan_head_Stainless_steel_18-8_4.aspx?Selected=2298
The following hardware was used to mount the case to the printer:
2x - 18-8 Stainless Steel Button-Head Socket Cap Screw
M3 Size, 8 mm Length, .5 mm Pitchhttp://www.mcmaster.com/?error_redirect=true#92095a181/=10n1k9r
WARNING, do not except 10mm in screw length or you risk clipping the wiring harness that runs up the z-axis to the extruder.
2x - Type 18-8 Stainless Steel Nylon-Insert Locknut
M3x0.5 Thread Size, 5.5mm Wide, 4mm Highhttp://www.mcmaster.com/?error_redirect=true#93625a100/=10n1l4i
UPDATE (5/22/15): Mounting bracket holes adjusted to account for the 3 degree difference in the 2 holes on the printer frame so the case will now mount level with the printer.
