A conservative and compact heliostat design using simple mechanics, carried by a rover with integrated batteries. The main part is deployed by motors with planetary gearbox and preloaded torsion mechanism. The joint segment can be easily covered and protected against lunar low temperatures, panel motors are heated electrically. Heliostat consists of 6 lightweight folding reflective panels, two photovoltaic panels (illuminated by reflection), and two powerful lights illuminating panels in their parabolic configuration. Additionally, a solar prism can be integrated to concentrate the light stream for radiative heat.
