Low reynold number vertical axis wind turbine(VAWT)
motivation
just to see whether it really works,
design
search for a chart on google for low reynold number aerofoil shape, draw using spline and extrude using sweep with guide wheels, since I only have small size bearing, the hole in the center is fit for my bearing(7mm outer diameter 3mm inner diameter). To add rigidity bottom extra thickness is added to the bottom
printing
fast print preset on snapmaker luban 3.15.0 and pla preset. I think the preset is more or less the same across different version of snapmaker luban.
testing
since i do not have sensor to test for rpm and wind speed, I just attached a M3*35 screw with nut at the center and place it in front of the office air-con. seeing it turns means the design is working
