Ultra low profile wall mount for the 9th gen Amazon Fire 7" tablet:
requires removal of the rear plastic cover of the tablet. The tablet then clips into the wall mount.
wall mount is designed to attach a 1-gang wall box (both new and old work)
power is provided by a 110VAC/5VDC 2A power supply module https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SGQ6XXR/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_MDMS95VX4DJKWZCDGZAY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 that is attached to the PSU Carrier and covered by the PSU enclosure. The Carrier glues into place in the wall mount and sticks out the back.
cut out in wall mount for low voltage 5V DC wires. I soldered the leads to the USB VCC and GND test points on the back of the fire tablet and attached them to the PSU with jumper wire connectors so that the tablet can be detached. The design can be modified to also accommodate a low profile usb charger cable.
depending in the precision of your 3D printer, you may need to trim the holding clips in the wall mount back a bit so that the Fire Tablet fits well. I have tuned my printer such that this isn't necessary, but your mileage may vary.
