This set includes all the pieces of a regular chess set, but includes two new pieces:
The Archbishop - This piece functions as both a bishop and a knight.
The Chancellor - This piece functions as both a rook and a knight.
Building the Set
To complete the entire set (both players and board), you will need:
20 x Pawn
2 x King
2 x Queen
2 x Archbishop
2 x Chancellor
4 x Knight
4 x Bishop
4 x Rook
Description
Since there are two added pieces, this variant should be played on a 10x8 board. The rules are the same as in regular chess.
This set can also be used to play Grand Chess, which is played on a 10x10 board.
