Meant to resemble the elven brooches from the LotR movies, given to the fellowship when leaving Lothlorien. Depending on scale and added hardware, it could be used for many things. I glues a magnetic sheet to the back of one to make a magnet. The original intent was as a handle for a window pull in the treehouse project. The lastest model was for corrections and use in my son's Legolas costume.
I'm including a file of the entire pbject as well as the two parts separated for printing with multiple filaments. I've printed with and without supports and it came out fine. Your printer settings might make the difference.
As for infill, it depends on how hefty you want it. I did 100% to make a solid piece and it was nice, but I did 50% on the version for my son's costume and it was perfectly fine. I'm sure lower would be fine as well.
I printed in a single filament and hand painted afterward.
The "green" part is pretty much just flat, I might edit it to give it more character, but when painted and glossy clear coated, it has character enough.
Scale as needed. I designed in blender, but forgot to set the world scale. In my slicer I scaled it up and it works perfectly. Smaller is highly likely to not show the thinner veins running on the leaf. I did a print as 2.5 inches and they show well. My final costume print was 3 inches.
