This is a mount for the Logitech c920 webcam. It attaches to the ever popular $8.99 USD IKEA Tertial Work Lamp. I like this more than a printer-mounted webcam solution because of the freedom the articulating arm allows. Also this design doesn't require you to modify the webcam in any other way, just thread the base with a traditional 1/4" tripod sized screw.
For installation, you'll reuse the screws from the lamp (the ones that mount to the shade) and a 1/4" standard tripod thread screw. Cut out the lamp fixture/cables and you're good to go! I use two of these lamps for my setup, one with an adjustable wifi light, the other with the webcam. Enjoy!
ALSO! If you don't know what to do with the left over lamp shade, why not convert it into a flower pot? Here's a link to the quick upcycle project I did with the extra lampshade! IKEA Lamp Shade - Flower Pot Conversion
